Homemade Salsa Verde

Salsa Verde is commonly known to Los Angelinos as that “green stuff in the little cup from the taco truck.” Follow this simple recipe to create an impressive traditional salsa that everyone will enjoy!

Directions

1Roughly chop onions and cilantro

2Peel and wash tomatillos

3Pre-heat broiler to high

4Broil and pepper tomatillos for 15-20 minutes until blistering

5Combine tomatillos, pepper and cilantro in food processor. Blend until smooth.

6Add onions and pulse until chopped

7Add salt pulse until fully mixed

8This with water if salsa is too thick

1/2 Bunch cilantro

1 lb Tomatillos

1 Hot pepper (optional)

1 tsp Salt

2 tbsp Water
